‘EBISU’ will be the first residential building to complete with 93 apartments setting a new benchmark of luxury for Waterloo
New luxury property development and hospitality company, One Global Residences, will deliver Australia’s first ever curated Japan Town in Sydney.
Designed by Koichi Takada & Associates and Silvester Fuller, One Mastery will comprise two residential buildings and two boutique serviced apartments connected by a Japanese themed dining and retail village.
EBISU, the first building set to complete in Q2 2024, is named after Japanese mythology Shichi-fuku-jin (“Seven Gods of Luck”), the patron of fishermen and tradesmen, a nod to the retail precinct that will connect all the buildings on the ground level.
The eight-storey building will provide of 93 apartments and residents will have access to a ground floor zen garden with a reflective pool and landscaped rooftop garden with BBQ facilities.
EBISU will feature the largest three-bedroom configurations of all the buildings within One Mastery, making it ideal for growing families or downsizers. Many of the apartments have a very rare dual aspect layout, maximising natural light and allowing a through-breeze on hot summer days for energy savings and efficiency.
The entire precinct will be serviced by a 2,400 sqm retail precinct featuring 27 retail outlets envisioned to include a mix of Japanese restaurants, cafes and shops. Quaint, tranquil laneways will weave through the complex, connecting every building, designed to be experienced as a Japanese ‘culinary journey’ showcasing a range of Japanese oriented dining, retail and hospitality venues.
One Mastery is the first development to be delivered by Iwan Sunito’s new luxury brand, One Global Residences, with other properties to follow including a prime site in Macquarie Park – and a future pipeline of sites located at Chatswood and Los Angeles.
