This June, Taronga will be hosting an Eid event with community partner Crescent Wealth, celebrating the Islamic festival that marks the end of the Ramadan fasting period by bringing families together to share feasting and fun.
Eid at Taronga is a two day event held here at Taronga Zoo Sydney, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June. It is a celebration of family, and a time of feasting and fun. Everyone is welcome.
There will be special food stalls showcasing halal food from around the world, which will be at the Concert Lawns. We’ll have a jumping castle for kids, music and cultural information stands.
