On behalf of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, we are delighted to invite you to join the “Indonesian Education Explorer” program, which offers an immersive learning experience in the Indonesian language and culture for Bahasa Indonesia teachers and students in Australia.
The program provides an opportunity for tertiary students (University) and teachers of Indonesian (primary and secondary) in Australia to have a week-long stay in Lombok, where they can practice their language skills and experience village activities in Desa Wisata (tourism village).
Applicants must be Australian citizens, a teacher of Indonesian at primary or secondary school or a tertiary student, an active social media user, and able to demonstrate a commitment to write about their immersive experience.
The Ministry will provide return airfare from Sydney to Lombok, accommodation, meals, local transport and logistical support, travel insurance, a local host,7 and a travel kit.
