In celebration of the Indonesian 70th Independence Day, together with KJRI Sydney, Indonesian Golf Association Sydney (IGA Sydney) hosted a social golf event for our Indonesian golf community and friends at The Coast Golf Club in Sydney. We thanked all of our loyal supporters, including those who had to travel a long distance to attend our event.
Our special guest for the day was Dr. Gary Jusuf, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Fiji, who travelled all the way to support us.

Albeit the temperature was close to reaching 35° Celcius, it did not stop our players from giving their best shots. It was a successful event with approximately 40 participants teed-off at 11.05am. The game was then concluded with an award presentation at the KJRI office in Maroubra accompanied with delicious authentic Indonesian dinner provided by Kharisma Catering.

This event was initiated by KJRI, organised by IGA Sydney, sponsored by (and thanks to) Salease Property, Mr. Arief Wibowo, Mr. Joe Kent of DK Science and Learning, Mr. Uun Setiawan (Vice President) of Garuda Indonesia Sydney and Mr. Gedion Manuel of Randwick Oriental. Their sponsorships had made this event possible.

Also, thank you to our talented photographer, Mr. Willy Muliyadi for giving his best shot with his camera, on and off the golf course.

We would like to congratulate the following winners:

Winner presentation and dinner were officially opened with a warm welcome speech by our Consulate General Dr. Yayan G.H. Mulyana and our IGA President’s Mr. Dinky Baso. In his speech, Dr. Yayan G.H. Mulyana had shared his interesting insight into the future growth of Indonesia’s economy. It was then followed by a presentation from one of our sponsors, Mr. Arief Wibowo of Salease Property. He has highlighted the prospect of Brisbane as an investment destination. More information on his projects and contact details can be found at http://www.saleaseproperty.com.au/
